So my lovely husband reminded me that he had solved the lost camera cable issue by purchasing a small card reader that had been plugged in to our computer for probably a month now and I had forgotten. SO...here they are. Some new pics. Not since November but the last month at least. There has been some more sister time as Edie is a bit more assertive and able to take care of herself better. She has developed some skills to keep herself safe. Either pulling hair, pinching cheeks or screaming. Any of those will get her sister off of her pretty quickly.

We had snow for approximately 16 hours one day. It snowed overnight and then was melted by mid-day. But we could not pass up the opportunity. Daddy was happy to oblige and he and Lucy were out by 8am building this fantastic snowman. What you can't see is that it was raining too. It was cold and wet out there but they made it happen. And Edie and I watched from the window and made hot chocolate.
Went to our favorite hiking spot recently with friends. But while the big girls were playing in the stream, the little girls decided to go for a solo hike. My girlfriend did follow them but they were quite comfortable going off alone. That would be a second child thing.

Edie LOVES being on the top bunk and reading books. It is so sweet finding her this way.

Bathtime. What more can I say?

While Lucy is at school, I'm trying to give Edie some "school like" experiences as I was realizing she was mostly going on errands. So this day she got to play with oatmeal, seashells and small pieces of driftwood. She played for 45min. Super cool.

Rare moment caught on tape. Lasted just long enough for the photo before someone was yelling.

We went to the mountains on New Years' to go sledding. The temps were in the teens or low 20's so we were pretty freakin' cold but at least the sun was shining. The sledding hill was too full to take advantage of so we followed the other folks who were turned away and headed into the woods.

Right after packing her into the full suit, we thought we smelled something. Quickly tried to undress and change in the crazy cold only to find it was a false alarm! She was a trooper but my fingers were totally numb before the end of the process.

Lucy's big Christmas present was her very own digital camera that her cousin Conner gave her. He had an extra in the closet so its not some new version that we have to stress about. Instead, it gives her all that she wants in taking pictures and seeing her shots. She LOVES it and is getting in the habit of taking it along on outings.

Edie's big gift was this bouncy giraffe named Gyffy. Super fun to see her bounce like crazy. It has been a huge hit!
Ok...so that's a taste of what's been going on. More to come.

WOW! Edie has grown!!! Didn't realize how much I missed seeing the pics until I hear about how much things have changed over the past few months. Glad you're finding some balance and the girls are getting all kinds of learning experiences.
Miss you all!!!!
Hugs, Jennifer
