On a Brighter Note

Lucy got a new dress this week and LOVES it. She's really into dresses right now.













Unfortunately, most of the weather is better for this type of clothing. However, that will not stop us. Just add the rain pants and boots and we can still go stomping in puddles. Edie has her own set and is beyond thrilled to be out of the stroller on our walks. We all walk to get Daddy from the bus stop each afternoon and Edie has been walking the 4 blocks there.

Edie's birthday present. It works nicely for Lucy too.















One of our new weekly activities, making pita bread. It's super easy and Lucy can help with every stage including making the small balls of dough and rolling it out. We've been trying several hummus recipes as well since we go through a lot of hummus and pita. We're also growing our own cucumbers so at least part of the summer we'll get our snack very close to home.











Our one semi warm day, high 60's, we broke out the sprinkler. Lucy totally gets it this year and was running through it. Edie put her hands in and giggled. Unfortunately, she would slip periodically and when standing up she always chose the direction that would put the sprinkler directly in her face. That was a bit of a shocker.















Sometimes they do play together. One of the people was getting hurt and the others had to come and take them to the hospital.
