First Fruit

Lucy just discovered that she had one ripe strawberry, the first of the season, on her plant in the garden. She was so excited to try it and has been running around the yard shouting, "I got my first strawberry!!!" The construction workers on the roof of the neighbor's house 15 ft. away have not been spared. "Excuse me!! Bill, I got my first strawberry." Bill is soft spoken so he has smiled but not been overly excited so she has repeated this many times hoping for more response. We finally had to tell her to leave the guys alone and let them work.
