Finding Time

Ok...I know, I know...where have we been. HELLO!!! We have two children now. We had been warned by friends of multiple children but you just can't prepare yourself for the intensity of adding a second child. I have so much to tell you all about our first 10 weeks. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it all out soon. But for now, you might need a little baby fix. We have celebrated Rodney's birthday. (I won't share which one.) We had a psuedo camping day with Lucy's first hot dog roast and smores. Edie spends most of her waking hours smiling, talking and practicing her neck excersises. Rodney and I also got our first date since Edie came along and went to an outdoor concert. So here are some pics from our last month's adventures.
Lucy felt the fire was too hot so she moved her chair until she was comfortable. Although it was almost on top of Murphy.
Edie's makeshift bassinet for the evening. She loved the fresh air.
Lucy's first weiner roast. The stick was a bit too heavy so she learned to enjoy a nicely toasted dog.

Chillin' at the wading pool.
First family photo sent to cousin Emma for her birthday.
Cousin Erin and Lucy sharing a cucumber at the park.
Daddy's birthday cake. Believe it or not, Grandpa and Erin helped with the writing. HaHa They blamed the messiness on the poor icing tube design.
Lucy was standing in line with all the big kids for the giant slide at our West Seattle Street Fair. She came down the slide with a look of terror but quickly said, "Do it again, Mama!"

Ok, I know you were rushing, but you said you weren't going to disclose Rodney's age, however the b-day cake displayed it quite obviously!!!!!
HAHA!!

Hugs,
Sarah

Thanks, Gretch! I needed to see the happy family :-)! By the way, we keep picking loads of snap peas from our garden. It seems the rainy, cool summer(?) in Boston has served the peas well! Hope your garden is producing now as well.
