Sarah's Wedding in Ohio

We have finally gotten updated since May! We had lots going on and I'm getting less and less time with Lucy and her pace. I apologize now for the fact that some of the pics are out of order. Also, make sure to scroll down because I broke this up into two posts. Enjoy!

Other people got better pics but here is the one time we organized ourselves to get the whole clan in one shot. All members were at the wedding except for one brother-in-law. I think there were 19 of us. It was such a great trip with lots of laughing and silliness. Although now that everyone is married off, we have to actally plan the next get together.
Cousin Erin is a new best friend. She hung out with Lucy quite a bit. She's pretty cool too so Lucy kept track of her! Aunt Sarah was prepared for all the kids and had little toys ready at the house. It made things a lot easier when traveling from the hotel to her house.
We were also very excited to see "row, row" or aunt Jennifer. We'd been doing web cam with her before the trip so Lucy was instantly comfortable.
It was Jennifer's 40th birthday so in the spirit of Brogdon teasing, had a few surprises for her. Chad, who works at Coke, made this sign and we hung it in the entrance of Jennifer's hotel before she got there. Then we had a few silly gifts later at Sarah's house.
ok...a little out of order...but funny. Here's the amount of space we had on the plane. Lucy had a great flight on the way there. She didn't take a nap but we had some down time in St. Louis that seemed to help keep us mellow.
Daddy and Lucy snuggling.
She was so happy to hear the music start at the wedding that I had to keep her from running onto the dance floor with Sarah and Chad.
The day before the wedding, all the girls, except for Lucy, had lunch and went to the spa. Here is Aunt Steph, Grandma and Aunt Karen. (Tim's wife) We had such a great time hanging out with each other.
Aaaahhhh...could this be any cuter? Erin, Isaac, Lucy and Elijah. Sarah and Chad have a huge back yard that made it perfect for hanging as a family. We played badmitton, blew lots of bubbles and BBQ'd.
Here's Elijah and Uncle Tim. We stayed at the hotel with them. It was pretty funny because every morning without trying, I would walk out of the room with Lucy in her pj's and Tim would have just walked out of his room with Elijah and Isaac in their pj's all headed to the free breakfast. We would groggily head downstairs until we reached the busy breakfast lobby where we suddenly realized we were outnumbered by toddlers in a very non-toddler friendly environment. And why hotels have carpet under the tables, I do not understand! Most of the other guests that week were grandmas and grandpas in town for an antique show. So they were at least understanding.
Here is the Deible family from bottom to top. Clayton, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Chad and Brice.
Brice and Uncle Chad were showing Lucy how to use a baseball glove. She LOVED this and we've played ball in the athletic store since being back. We clearly need to get a glove.
Lucy discovered she had an audience when she looked up while she was dancing. This is Clayton, Uncle Chad and Uncle Gene. Uncle Gene and Uncle Chad ended up getting big hugs and kisses when we left cuz' they both hung out with Lucy. Actually, now that I think about it...they both played ball with her. That's all it takes I guess.
