Snow Day

We woke up to VERY cold temperatures and snow on the ground today. Rodney had to take the car into work so Lucy and I planned on staying in this morning. She has been really interested in the play kitchens at her friend’s house and preschool. SO…with a little duct tape and cardboard boxes…ta da!

She needed pots so Rodney suggested our camping gear. At least they’ll get used this year. I didn’t have a good solution for play food outside of empty cartons so I gave her bean bags. She tried for a little while but wasn’t happy with them. She kept going to the refrigerator for the real thing. I did give her a potato and orange but the dogs kept stalking her so that was out as well. If I’m feeling creative at nap time, I may cut out some felt food and hope that works.
