Edie - "No 'dorgeous' Mama, I Edie"
Mama - "Night night beautiful girl?"
Edie - "yeah"
Edie- "Milk Mama"
Mama - "Milk Please?"
Edie - "yeah"
And our biggest challenge comes in the form of an absolute nonintimidation factor. For example, Rodney was not feeling well the other night while I was away and had less patience than normal. He told Edie to pick up the crayons she had just dumped out on the floor, right before dinner. She looked at him and began spreading them all over the floor. He had already been pushed by both of them before this moment so he yelled something like, "don't you ever do that again. You need to clean this up Edie". His first thought was, "oh no, she's going to fall apart. I yelled too loud". But Edie's response was a simple, "Why Daddy?"
This is not uncommon. This kid is going to take anyone on.
