 I was inspired by this the other day so I changed our material storage.  Lucy came in that afternoon and said, "mama, this makes me happy."  Me too, kiddo, me too!

Can you see what she is doing?  This is a recycled door that used to have a mail slot in it.  Edie is desperate to see the chicks.  She hangs out by the door, peers through the slot and shouts.  We changed their brooder box from cardboard to clear plastic after someone dumped the water container.  So now she can see them easier.  It's super cute!
