Three years ago, we were staring at our first baby girl, naked, wrapped in a blanket, with those fabulous cheeks. The other evening at her party in the backyard, I looked over and she was wearing only her underwear, wrapped in a towel, with ice cream smeared on those cheeks.
Lucy had a great birthday.
We had a small gathering of neighbors and friends come over for burgers and cake and watched Lucy and her friend Katya, strip to their underwear to play in the pool, eat watermelon and thoroughly enjoy some fun with friends. It is really hard to believe that she is already three but then again, sometimes she says things or does things that make it obvious.
