"I want to type on the puter, Mama." We write notes to Papa and Grandma and various friends or neighbors. She is recognizing letters by whose name they are attached to. "There's an M for Mama." OR "There's Daddy's D."
We got a package the other day with the biodegradable peanuts. Lucy had fun squishing them in water and watching them "melt."
Last night we had an impromptu dinner party with Ella and her mom Pauline. Taco night was a big success. This little table was a perfect spot for Lucy and Ella to share their dinner.
Welcome to our little indoor greenhouse. We have two kinds of cherry tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, and sweet peas. I'm actually worried that I won't be able to get them into the garden before they are too big.
It makes me so happy to have plants growing, the tulips are coming up, the lilac tree has buds, the crab apple tree has new beautiful red leaves and it is Spring in Seattle.

And Gretch, you must be feeling better - an impromptu dinner party? Good for you! Our crocus are in full bloom and daffodils are starting to grow. What a difference a little spring can do for the system!!!
How soon did you start your seeds and plants? They look great. We tried broccoli and they are now in the ground but look puny compared to yours!- Candy S
